In 1982 Prophetess Sheila Howell was called into the ministry to serve in the household of faith. She was faithful and obedient to the voice of God. In 1986 while under the leadership of Bishop Wilbur McNair, COGIC located in California, she was ordained as an Evangelist; this led to the beginning of her teaching throughout the city of Los Angeles. God began to exalt her richly under the anointing. He graces her with the ability to teach and preach his word. In doing so, he uses her in the office of a Prophet and allows her to operate under every spiritual gift that he has imparted in her belly. 

She served along with her husband in Church on Wheels Outreach Ministry and as the Prophetess of Amen Deliverance Ministries, which was birthed in Los Angeles, CA.  In a short time, the ministry had earned a reputation of deliverance, healing, nurturing, and setting captives free.

In September 1988, God spoke to Apostle and Prophetess Howell to begin work for the Lord in Mississippi.  As an extension of their work established in Los Angeles, this was the beginning of an awesome move of God in their lives.  In the fall of 1992 God gave divine orders to move to North Atlanta, GA, where the husband and wife team established and founded Greater Prayer & Deliverance Ministry a/k/a Kingdom Come Mission Outreach. Prophetess Sheila Howell birthed and established Abba Father Ministry.

      God has opened doors for Abba Father Ministry allowing Prophetess Howell to host Women’s conferences, fellowships, brunches, and retreats throughout United States. God is still allowing her to teach women how to operate in the power and gifts of God. This dynamic, loving, Holy Ghost filled women of God exemplifies the true meaning of Christ, through her unending service to God and her unselfish service to people.
